Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks including oil changes, filter replacements, brake adjustments, and lubrication on HOWO, FAW, Mercedes, and Renault trucks.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Utilize advanced computerized diagnostic tools and scanners to identify mechanical and electrical faults in engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
- Electrical Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair heavy auto electrical systems, including CAN BUS systems, wiring harnesses, lighting, and electronic components.
- Mechanical Repairs: Perform complex repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, differentials, and gearboxes.
- Component Overhaul: Remove, disassemble, repair, and reassemble major truck components, such as engines and transmissions.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards; perform pre-trip inspections and ensure road worthiness.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Welding/Fabrication: Perform basic welding or fabrication work for repairs or modifications if required
