We are seeking a warm, organized, and proactive Nanny/Household Manager for a wonderful family in Sarasota, Florida. This long-term position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing childcare with household management and takes initiative without needing to be micromanaged. The family has two school-aged children with different personalities who both thrive with a kind, encouraging caregiver. Responsibilities include school pick-up and transportation to activities, planning engaging age-appropriate activities, homework support, preparing lunches for the following day, cooking two family meals each week, and fostering a structured, positive environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, nurturing, patient, and able to confidently guide children through everyday conflicts while reinforcing healthy communication and family values. A second language is a wonderful bonus but is not required.
While the children are at school, the nanny will focus on household management duties including unloading and loading the dishwasher, laundry, light housekeeping, running errands, coordinating vendors, handling returns, meal preparation, and helping keep the home clean and organized. The family is looking for someone who naturally notices what needs to be done, enjoys creating order, and takes pride in maintaining a well-run household. They value positivity, reliability, strong references, and someone who is excited to become a long-term part of their family. A vehicle may be provided if needed.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 11:00am - 7:00pm (approximately, with some flexibility based on the children's activities)
