ABOUT THE TEAM Based within our Fashion Department in the School of Design the successful candidate will be working within one of the largest specialist technical teams at the University. Working along side colleagues to deliver innovative , creative practice across a number of design disciplines associated with the school, helping our students, researchers and associated stakeholders to meet their creative goals.
ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree or display an appropriate level of industry experience. Display a working knowledge of the equipment and processes associated with pattern cutting and garment construction as well as the ability to communicate and demonstrate these skills to others. Have a familiarity of associated Health and Safety requirements within a fashion workshop environment. Demonstrate the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload, responding to managers or works requirements. Working within in a team, supporting the educational, research and multi-disciplinary needs of the course, school and university at large.
