Key Responsibilities
- Create Electrical Layouts: Draft exact drawings for power, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Design Schematics: Draw Single Line Diagrams (SLD) —simple charts that show the path of electricity from the main source to the end devices.
- Coordinate Teams: Work with other draftsmen and engineers to ensure pipes, wires, and air ducts do not clash.
- Draft "As-Builts": Update final drawings to show any changes made during actual construction.
- Estimate Materials: Count the number of parts needed for a project directly from the drawings
