SummaryExamples of dutiesResponsible for the planning and implementation of specific recreation activities in the afterschool program. Duties include but are not limited to, the planning and implementation of sports and/or crafts activities, and clean up. May accompany and transport children on off site field trips as scheduled. Attend staff and programming meetings as scheduled.
The hours for this position are 3:30-6:30pm mostly M-F Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Skills in general recreation programs and some knowledge of specific activities as related to the position.
EXPERIENCE:
3-6 months experience working with children in a recreational setting. Knowledge of sports and games and some implementation required.
EDUCATION:
High School student and/or at least 16 years of age. Child development class a plus.
