An opportunity has presented itself for a Contract Performance Analyst to join our Coal Commercial team. This role is preferably based in Brisbane or Sydney.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in commercial analytics, customer service or the resources sector. What You'll Do
Support contract performance reporting and deliver data-driven insights that help optimise customer outcomes.
Reporting to the Optimisation Manager – Coal, you will:
- Analyse contract performance against key commercial terms and performance KPIs.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis and communicate actionable insights.
- Support the transition from manual reporting processes to more automated and scalable reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with Customer Service Managers and cross-functional teams to improve reporting, data quality and business decision-making.
- Build your commercial knowledge through exposure to contract management, customer engagement and operational performance.
What You'll Bring
- A degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience working with data through university, internships or previous employment.
- Exposure to Excel and Power BI (or similar reporting tools), with a willingness to continue developing these skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with a variety of stakeholders.
- A curious mindset, eagerness to learn and a passion for continuous improvement.
