Hypebeast is seeking a strategic and dynamic operational leader to oversee our global commercial operations infrastructure and eliminate organizational friction. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end workflows supporting sales, account management, and creative production, streamlining administrative systems, approval chains, and data integrity to drive core departmental efficiency.

Serving as the critical nexus between commercial leadership, regional offices, finance, creative production, and product, you will diagnose process bottlenecks, architect scalable solutions, and drive cross-functional adoption. Crucially, you will establish the operational rhythms necessary to keep diverse, cross-functional teams aligned and consistently tracking toward our macro goals. Your mandate is to eliminate internal operational friction, allowing commercial teams to remain laser-focused on external growth and execution, while empowering leadership to focus on macro strategy. This is a high-autonomy, high-trust position reporting directly to the SVP of Commercial.

Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Data & Reporting - Build and maintain a single source of truth for commercial data across sales, finance, and production; consolidate inputs currently scattered across multiple systems into a clean, structured reporting layer accessible to leadership.
  • Dashboards & Insights - Own the dashboards and executive scorecards that surface pipeline health, revenue attainment, coverage, and margin; partner with in-house tech and AI tooling to translate commercial requirements into executable specs and iterate on outputs.
  • Revenue Forecasting - Consolidate weighted forecasts and coverage inputs across regions; produce the executive view of target versus actual, variance, and trajectory on a monthly and quarterly cadence.
  • Systems & Data Governance - Own CRM hygiene, pipeline integrity, and the discipline around how data is entered, tagged, and reported; act as the commercial owner in conversations with tech and data teams on tooling changes and integrations.
  • Workflow & Process - Streamline day-to-day operational workflows including approvals, vendor payments, IO booking, and invoice tracking; identify friction points and drive process improvements across the commercial function.
  • Commercial Enablement - Manage the global asset library, decks, one-pagers, and templates that the commercial team uses in client conversations; produce the quarterly client newsletter and other enablement collateral.
  • Cross-functional Liaison - Act as the bridge between Commercial, Finance, Product, and Production; translate commercial needs into technical requirements and hold the line when technical execution needs to align with commercial priorities.
  • Proactive Problem Solving - Anticipate operational bottlenecks before they escalate; surface risks and opportunities to the SVP of Commercial with clear framing and recommended actions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or a similar cross-functional operator role, ideally in media, agency, or consumer brand environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Strong data literacy: comfortable interrogating data across systems, spotting inconsistencies, and structuring information for reporting purposes.
  • Familiarity with dashboarding and BI tools (e.g. Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent); no requirement to build from scratch, but able to specify, review, and iterate on outputs.
  • Working understanding of how CRM, finance, and project management systems typically connect, and the ability to hold your own in conversations with technical teams.
  • Proven ability to translate commercial requirements into clear specifications for technical execution.
  • Track record of driving process improvement and operational discipline in fast-moving commercial environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across sales, finance, and operational functions; comfortable working with senior leadership.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.
  • Fluent English essential; additional Asian languages a plus.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in media, publishing, digital commerce, or creative agency environments.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling for reporting and workflow automation.
  • Experience supporting or partnering with a global commercial function across multiple time zones.
