Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a System Product Engineer who can support, test and validate chassis and work on system level products. This individual will be required to configure, deploy, troubleshoot, validate storage system performance and application solutions. This candidate will be based out of our headquarter office located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage chassis and system level product life cycle.
  • Work with design and validation team to support product development.
  • Work in lab environment conducting storage system level test and generate test report.
  • Conduct product training to FAE and sales.
  • Support production and assist customer on product and system level troubleshooting.
  • Pro-actively engage in learning and researching on new technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or with equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in PC and Server system testing, server or computer system assembly and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Experience and proficient in technical environment supporting projects in Windows Server and Linux OS.
Salary Range

 $140,000 - $165,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
