About the role
- As a Product Proposition Manager, you will shape and communicate the value of our insurance products to both customers and distribution channels. You will turn market and customer insights into clear positioning, compelling messaging, and effective go-to-market plans that drive awareness, adoption, and business growth.
- You will:
- Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that resonate with target audiences, and create content to support product launches and promotional activities.
- Lead go-to-market planning for new and enhanced products, including launch objectives, target audiences, key messages, channels, and timelines.
- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to produce clear, engaging, and compliant marketing materials such as videos, sales enablement tools, and digital assets, ensuring timely delivery.
- Drive end-to-end execution of sales enablement initiatives, from creative concept and visual development to content management and communication across multiple channels.
- Explore new promotional ideas, and third-party collaborations to enhance product visibility and achieve business results.
- Support ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- At least 6 years of experience in product marketing, product proposition, product management, or related roles, preferably within insurance or financial services.
- Proven track record in planning and executing product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement programmes with measurable business impact.
- Strong skills in positioning, messaging, and content development, with the ability to translate complex product features into simple, compelling narratives.
- Experience managing external agencies and vendors to deliver marketing and communication assets.
- Solid analytical skills, able to interpret market data, customer insights, and campaign performance to optimise activities.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities, with experience working cross-functionally.
- Good understanding of insurance products, customer segments, distribution channels, and regulatory considerations in Hong Kong.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua, both written and spoken.
