JOB SUMMARY :

The Head of Accounts Payable, Treasury & Investment is responsible for overseeing the company’s cash flow, payment operations, liquidity management, and investment strategy. This role ensures efficient financial operations, strong internal controls, and optimal use of company funds while managing financial risk.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :  

Accounts Payable (AP) Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end AP processes including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor payments
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments while optimizing working capital
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls and compliance procedures
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment issues
  • Drive process improvements and automation in AP systems

 

Treasury Management:

  • Manage daily cash flow, liquidity planning, and cash positioning
  • Oversee bank relationships, facilities, and financing arrangements
  • Monitor and forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements
  • Optimize cash utilization across business units and geographies

     

Investment Management:

  • Manage short-term and long-term investment portfolios with the support from asset management company
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, risks, and returns with the support from asset management company
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor market trends and provide recommendations to senior management

 

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including liquidity, credit, and market risks
  • Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness

     

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop AP, treasury, and investment teams
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on financial strategy and planning
  • Provide regular reporting on cash flow, payments, and investment performance

Work closely with regional team, banks, and external parties

 

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, with strong exposure to AP, treasury, and/or investments Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance operation—preferably within the insurance sector or other regulated financial industries. 
  • Proven leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strong knowledge of process automation, cash management, and financial control
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English. 
  • System knowledge (Core System and GL)
  • Interpersonal skills
