Join us on the Alkimos Desalination Plant which is an AU$2.8 billion program to secure drinking water to millions of Western Australians. The facility integrates with Perth's water supply network via a 33.5-kilometer underground pipeline connecting Alkimos to Wanneroo. The desalination plant aims to help the region manage declining rainfall and growing demand for drinking water. 

We're seeking experienced Project Engineers both Electrical & SMP to join us. The role will be Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays required during critical periods.

The Role:

  • Implementing, maintaining, coordinating, and expediting the procurement and construction elements for the designated work area.
  • Creating work packs, test packs; estimation & site variations.
  • Developing, preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the specifications for all equipment that is required for each stage of the construction.
  • Presenting project progress updates to senior management and clients
  • Strong and effective relationship with the Project Manager and other participants on site in order to provide optimal levels of day-to-day assistance and technical support.
  • Manage all technical queries and requests for information sent to the client and received from sub-contractors.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years+ experience in major infrastructure or water projects.
  • Demonstrated understanding of governing standards in Mining Construction particularly Australian
  • Standards.
  • Experienced in managing, raising, and responding to RFI’s and TQ’s
  • Experienced in managing and developing QMP’s, ITP’s and FIC’s/ITR’s
  • Good understanding of all stages of construction, from construction verification to commissioning
  • Ability to effectively work autonomously within a collaborative team, be proactive and able to take initiative
