How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?
As our new Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll play an integral role in delivering technically excellent building services solutions across a diverse portfolio of complex projects. You'll work alongside some of Australia's leading engineers while helping to mentor emerging talent and contribute to the continued growth of our Buildings team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality electrical designs across projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
- Providing technical leadership on multidisciplinary building projects.
- Coordinating with clients, architects and project stakeholders to develop practical, innovative solutions.
- Supporting and mentoring graduate and developing engineers.
- Contributing to bids, proposals and project planning activities.
You'll have the opportunity to work across sectors including:
- Defence
- Data Centres
- Transport
- Aviation
What are we looking for from you?
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with a collaborative mindset and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.
You'll ideally have experience in:
- Low Voltage power systems
- High Voltage systems (desirable)
- Earthing, bonding and lightning protection
- Standby generation, UPS and mission critical systems
- Lighting and emergency lighting design
- Power distribution and reticulation
- Electrical building services coordination
Experience within one or more of the following sectors will be highly regarded:
- Defence
- Data Centres
- Aviation
- Transport for NSW (TAO accreditation advantageous)
You will also bring:
- Experience delivering multidisciplinary building services projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for mentoring and developing others.
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership (desirable).
