The Role
We are seeking a Digital Engineer to support the successful delivery of digital engineering outcomes across major infrastructure projects. Working closely with project and engineering teams, you will coordinate digital models, manage project information and help drive innovation through the effective use of BIM and digital engineering technologies. This role is ideal for a technically capable professional who is passionate about technology, data and improving project delivery through digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage digital engineering and BIM deliverables across projects
- Perform model audits, validation checks and coordination reviews
- Facilitate clash detection and issue resolution processes
- Support interdisciplinary model federation and stakeholder coordination
- Assist project teams with virtual design reviews and digital workflows
- Manage digital models and information within project platforms
- Support data exchange processes and information management protocols
- Develop and maintain project dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation and automation initiatives
- Mentor and support less experienced team members where required
About You
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Digital Engineering, Construction, BIM or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience working in a Digital Engineering, BIM Coordinator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of engineering design, modelling and documentation platforms
- Experience using tools such as Navisworks, Revizto, BIM 360, ProjectWise or similar
- Understanding of model coordination, federation and clash detection processes
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and digital engineering standards
- Experience supporting digital delivery on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Ability to manage information exchange and data interoperability processes
- Power BI dashboard development experience will be highly regarded
- Programming, automation or digital innovation capability will be advantageous
