Role details:
We’re seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our Truganina Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on night shift 10pm – 6am with overtime available. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
What you’ll do:
- Working alongside the maintenance and production team to complete routine and planned maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns on PLC controlled machinery.
- Working autonomously as you will be the only Electrician on shift, working alongside a Fitter.
- Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
- Recording maintenance tasks on IFS system.
What you’ll bring:
- Qualification and A grade Electrical licence.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and working alongside production.
- Troubleshooting of PLCs and VSDs (mainly Siemens)
- Experience dealing with breakdown maintenance and production targets.
- Passion for your trade and able to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
