Job Description: The Lead, Enterprise Architect is a senior management role responsible for building, leading, and developing a high-performing team of enterprise architects. This role owns the end-to-end delivery of architectural solutions that directly support business unit strategies across Pearson.
The Lead, Enterprise Architect brings together technical expertise and strategic vision to guide the development of standards, patterns, and frameworks that balance innovation with pragmatism. Working closely with department heads and senior stakeholders, this role shapes technology roadmaps, resolves complex architectural challenges, and ensures that every solution meets Pearson’s standards for security, scalability, maintainability, and compliance.
A key part of the role is cultivating architectural excellence across the team while actively reducing technical debt and aligning the organisation’s technology evolution with its long-term goals.
