Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Fleet & Procurement Support to support the day-to-day operations of the organistation. The role will cover fleet support, warehouse and stores, procurement, and general logistical assistance to ensure our operatives have the vehicles, materials, tools, and equipment they need.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for the company fleet, including arranging servicing, repairs, tyres, MOTs, and breakdown assistance.
  • Assist operatives with vehicle breakdowns and general fleet-related issues.
  • Support the running and organisation of the warehouse, stores, and yard.
  • Receive, check, organise, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Source and purchase materials, tools, equipment, vehicle parts, and consumables.
  • Obtain quotes, place orders, track deliveries, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Work with site teams and management to identify and meet purchasing and logistical requirements.
  • Help ensure vehicles, equipment, materials, and supplies are available when required.
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment.
  • Support the wider operations team with general logistical and practical tasks as required.

You Will Need:

  • Previous experience in a fleet, logistics, warehouse, stores, procurement, or construction environment.
  • Practical and hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and breakdown procedures.
  • Experience ordering materials, parts, tools, or equipment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good IT and record-keeping skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse, yard, and construction environment.
