Job Description

  • Lead and oversee the Bank's Liquidity Risk management function, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal risk management requirements.

  • Provide leadership, guidance and effective oversight of the Liquidity Risk team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all Liquidity Risk monitoring and reporting.

  • Oversee regulatory liquidity metrics, including LCR, NSFR and other internal Liquidity Risk indicators, ensuring appropriateness of methodologies and assumptions.

  • Monitor Liquidity Risk exposures, limits, triggers and breaches, and ensure timely escalation and resolution of emerging risks.

  • Lead liquidity stress testing, scenario analysis and contingency funding planning to assess the Bank's resilience under stressed conditions.

  • Provide independent review and challenge of funding strategies, liquidity buffer adequacy and balance sheet Liquidity Risks.

  • Evaluate liquidity implications arising from new products, business initiatives and strategic balance sheet actions.

  • Oversee the development and enhancement of Liquidity Risk frameworks, policies, procedures and governance standards.

  • Support ALCO and senior management through insightful Liquidity Risk analysis, reporting and recommendations.

  • Act as the primary liaison with regulators, auditors and key stakeholders on Liquidity Risk-related matters.

  • Lead and oversee regulatory change initiatives, system enhancements and change requests, including review and oversight of UAT to ensure successful implementation and compliance with business requirements.

Job Requirement

  • A recognised Degree / Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Statistic, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics or any other relevant qualification

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Balance Sheet Risk Management, with strong knowledge of Liquidity Risk Management, including regulatory reporting (e.g.: LCR & NSFR).

  • A team player, with good communication and pleasant attitude.

  • Knowledge in treasury products will be added advantage.

  • Proficient in SAS, Microsoft Excel, VBA and Words.

  • Possess strong analytical skill and able to meet deadlines set.
