Communication – The communications coordinator will play an integral role in content creation and audience interaction on the school of business’ social media pages.
Professionalism – The communications coordinator is the first point of contact for anyone engaging with the school of business via social media. They will curate a social media presence that is informative and professional.
The Dahlkemper School of Business is seeking a communications coordinator for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position reports to and is supported by the Program Assistant for the School of Business. The communications coordinator will work approximately 15 hours per week on a hybrid schedule with both in-person and remote responsibilities. Work schedule will vary to accommodate the needs of the department and the student’s schedule.
The communications coordinator’s primary responsibilities are as follows:
Additionally, candidates must be reliable, have strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and be a positive representative of the Dahlkemper School of Business and Gannon University.
Must be a current student at Gannon University. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience managing professional social media pages is preferred. - Content Creation: Plan and create content for DSB’s social media, website, and newsletter, including researching, writing, and capturing media for stories.
- Social Media Management: Manage content posting and engage with followers on DSB’s social media pages. Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics to assess performance and guide content strategy improvements.
- Event Support: Create flyers and graphics for DSB initiatives and events. Capture photos and engage with students at school events.
