We are currently searching for a Data Scientist:
The Challenge (Responsibilities)
- Participate in a strategic analytical transformation initiative within the financial sector to strengthen business decision-making.
- Design and structure the analytical data layer and define critical business variables.
- Develop statistical modeling and Machine Learning frameworks.
- Establish a scalable methodological base to evolve analytical capabilities towards advanced automation and artificial intelligence models.
- Translate financial business needs into data assets, explainable models, and actionable analytical tools applied to pricing, liquidity, and customer behavior.
Your Profile (Requirements)
- Solid understanding of analytical data architecture, logical and conceptual models, Data Lakes, and Data Marts.
- Expertise in data lineage, data quality, and traceability.
- Strong background in applied statistics, including regression, clustering, decision trees, propensity models, and analytical scoring.
- Proficiency in Machine Learning and feature engineering.
- Mastery of Advanced SQL, and programming in Python and/or R.
- 3 years of proven experience working within the Banking or Financial sector.
- High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
- Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."
Desired
- Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
Languages
- Intermediate Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams.
- Advanced Spanish.

- Candidates must reside in Mexico City.
Work Arrangement
We value flexibility to support your lifestyle. This position is available as:
- Hybrid: (3 days in the office, determined by the manager/project). Occasional full-week onsite planning/training sessions may be required. Please note: Our Client may decide to transition to a 100% onsite model in the future, and candidates must be comfortable with this possibility.
