Plant Utilities Senior Engineer
to join us in Pernik, Bulgaria

As a Plant Utilities Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation, maintenance, safety and continuous improvement of Water Treatment Plant equipment, reporting directly to the Energy Senior Manager.
What you will need to do:
- Organize and control the technical condition and proper functioning of equipment in the Water Treatment Plant
- Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs of plant equipment
- Manage, organize, and oversee health and safety activities for workers under your supervision, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company standards
- Prepare, interpret, and work with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Manage maintenance schedules and participate in both planned and emergency equipment repairs within the Water Treatment Plant
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies and lead activities related to equipment modernization and process improvements
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate the procurement and delivery of spare parts
What you need to possess:
- University degree in technical fields
- 4+ years experience in similar positions
- Detailed knowledge of the company's water supply, treatment and cooling systems, as well as the technical requirements, regulations and standards governing the activities of the Water Supply Department
- Familiarity with Bulgarian legislation will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS)
- Excellent command of English language
- Computer literacy
- Willingness to work in a challenging industrial environment
