About the Role
Ready to build a career in Product Management?
We're looking for a motivated and organised Product Manager to join our Applications Engineering team in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in product coordination, engineering, project management or business analysis who wants to develop into a Product Manager while working on world-leading technology.
Working closely with the General Manager, Commercial Operations, you'll support the development and delivery of Minelab's physical and digital product portfolio, including detectors, accessories, packaging and connected technologies. You'll gain exposure to every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept and development through testing, launch and ongoing product improvement.
This role offers exceptional variety, working across engineering, operations, marketing, suppliers and commercial teams to help ensure products are delivered successfully to customers around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate product development activities across detectors, accessories, packaging and digital products.
- Support the development of product requirements and specifications, ensuring customer needs and product objectives are reflected.
- Organise product samples, prototypes, supplier inputs and testing activities.
- Assist with new product introduction, launch readiness and product lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to refine product designs, resolve issues and support product development.
- Prepare product information for marketing, sales, customer support, packaging and manuals.
- Support product testing, validation, issue resolution and continuous product improvement activities.
- Assist with product planning, prioritisation and requirements gathering across multiple development activities.
- Maintain visibility of product development activities, decisions and progress using collaboration tools including Asana, Teams and Excel.
About You
You're naturally organised, enjoy solving problems and have the ability to keep multiple activities moving simultaneously. You communicate well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and enjoy turning ideas into well-organised, deliverable outcomes.
You may already have experience in Product Management, Product Coordination, Engineering, Project Coordination or Business Analysis and be looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience across the full product lifecycle.
Experience supporting product development, testing, supplier coordination or technical documentation will be highly regarded, along with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
An interest in technology, consumer electronics, outdoor products or innovative engineering solutions will help you thrive in this role.
