Legal Counsel

Department: Growth Businesses Legal

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Kazakhstan

Description

We're looking for a proactive Legal Counsel to join our Growth Businesses legal team, with a primary focus on Fleet projects and broader support across commercial matters. You'll work closely with business, finance, tax, and operations teams to build practical, business-oriented solutions across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support for Fleet projects across multiple markets: drafting and negotiating fleet partnership and service agreements, drive-to-own and leasing structures, advance-payment and financing arrangements.
  • Draft, review, and redline a broad range of commercial contracts, templates, and policies - including partnership agreements, integration documents, MoUs, and terms of use.
  • Provide legal advice on civil, commercial, consumer, and digital law matters.
  • Advise on cross-border legal structuring, flagging regulatory, licensing, and tax considerations, and coordinating with local counsel where needed.
  • Monitor relevant regulations across assigned markets and prepare clear, concise legal analysis with practical recommendations.
  • Support the development of reusable legal templates, checklists, and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on regional and global projects.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience as in-house counsel or in a law firm, ideally supporting IT, tech, or platform companies.
  • Solid grounding in civil and commercial law; exposure to financing/leasing, consumer, or marketing/advertising law is a strong plus.
  • Interest in or familiarity with digital platform regulation is an advantage.
  • Strong drafting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English; additional/local language proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience in an international or fast-paced environment is a plus.

Why join us

  • Help us challenge injustice by creating fair choices for millions of people across 48 countries.
  • Develop your professional skills with access to mentoring, career consulting, and learning programs.
  • Collaborate with teams around the world and gain international experience through our Global Talent Exchange Program.
  • Engage in company-wide challenges, awards, sports activities, employee-led social impact and volunteering projects.
  • Work alongside people who take initiative, speak openly, and challenge themselves to grow.
  • Improve your language skills through co-financed courses and internal speaking clubs.
  • Annual salary from 54 000 EUR gross.
Final benefits may vary depending on the location.
