As a member of the Learning and Development team, the incumbent provides practical administrative, digital and coordination support for organisation-wide learning activities across Aldar Education HQ and schools. The role supports the day-to-day operation of Talent Hub and other approved learning platforms, including learner assistance, course administration, content uploads, data maintenance and routine reporting.

Working under the guidance of the Head of Learning and Development, the incumbent also assists with programme logistics, stakeholder communications and the preparation of simple digital learning materials. The role contributes to accurate, accessible and responsive learning services and is not accountable for independently designing learning strategy, managing programmes or making system, budget or policy decisions.

The incumbent will continuously strive to exceed internal & external customer expectations, capitalizing the economic profit and return on capital investment, while embracing the Aldar Education Core Values. To embody the values, vision and ethos of Aldar Education and assist the department in implementing process and policy which will ensure high quality and successful outcomes.

Main Duties:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative, coordination and first-line technical support for Learning and Development activities.
  • Support routine administration of LMS and other approved learning platforms, including user records, learning assignments, course uploads and basic system checks.
  • Respond to routine learner and stakeholder queries, provide clear guidance and refer complex or unresolved matters to the appropriate team member.
  • Assist with training calendars, invitations, workshops, virtual sessions, attendance records and related communications.
  • Maintain accurate learning records, trackers and standard reports using approved templates and processes.
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and within agreed timelines, keeping the line manager informed of progress, risks and support required.

Specific Duties:

Learning Platform Support:

  • Support the creation and updating of learner profiles, learning assignments, access records and other routine platform data.
  • Upload, test and maintain approved courses, learning materials and catalogue information in accordance with defined procedures.
  • Provide first-line assistance for routine navigation, access and completion queries; log issues and escalate technical or integration problems.
  • Carry out basic data-quality checks and prepare standard reports on participation, completion and platform usage.

Digital Learning and Content Support:

  • Assist with formatting and producing simple digital learning materials, including presentations, infographics, visual aids, templates and branded resources.
  • Support video activities such as preparing scripts, recording, editing, captioning and publishing short instructional or promotional content.
  • Check materials for basic accuracy, branding, accessibility and formatting before submitting them for review and approval.

Health, Safety and Environment:

  • Follow all applicable health, safety, safeguarding and workplace procedures.
  • Report identified risks, hazards or concerns promptly through the appropriate channels.

Minimum Qualification:

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Educational Technology, Instructional Design or a related field is desirable.
  • Equivalent relevant administrative, digital or learning-support experience may be considered.

Minimum Experience:

  • Typically 1–2 years of experience in administration, Learning and Development, HR, digital learning, learning systems or a comparable support role.
  • Practical exposure to an LMS, digital content, multimedia tools, training coordination or learning administration is desirable.
  • Experience in an education, large organisation or multi-site environment is an advantage.

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and reliable follow-up.
  • Ability to manage several assigned tasks, follow procedures and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Good digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, presentations and online platforms.
  • Advance exposure to LMS or AI-enabled learning platforms is desirable; experience with Cornerstone Galaxy is an advantage.
  • Ability to create or format clear presentations, infographics and branded learning materials using common design tools.
  • Ability to handle information responsibly and work effectively as part of a team.
