We’re looking for a MRB Coordinator to bring their passion, precision, and problem-solving skills to our team in Carson, CA. If you share our passion for beautiful cars, thrive on details, and want to be part of something extraordinary, this is your chance.

Why You’ll Love This Role:
• This role ensures that all nonconforming materials—internal or supplier-related—are accurately identified, documented, reviewed, dispositioned, and tracked in accordance with company procedures and customer, regulatory, and quality management system requirements.
• Acting as the central liaison between Quality, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain, the MRB Coordinator drives timely and effective resolution of nonconformances while supporting root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts.
• The position requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to maintain compliance, traceability, and reporting across multiple departments.

What You’ll Do:
• MRB Coordinator is responsible for leading, organizing, and executing all activities related to the Material Review Board (MRB) process at Singer
• Perform dimensional inspection of parts, components, subassemblies, and assemblies for conformance to blueprints, engineering specifications, and Customer requirements
• Maintain and administer the MRB log, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely documentation of all nonconforming materials.
• Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate MRB meetings, including preparing agenda items, maintaining records, capturing minutes, documenting decisions, and distributing outcomes to stakeholders.
• Ensure all MRB dispositions (use-as-is, rework, repair, scrap) are properly documented, approved by authorized personnel, and compliant with internal procedures and customer/industry requirements.
• Partner with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and Production to support investigations, determine root causes, and help drive corrective and preventive actions for recurring or systemic nonconformances.
• Track, monitor, and report MRB metrics, including volume, financial impact, historical trends, closure rates, and disposition cycle time; identify and escalate risks or patterns requiring further review.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to control of nonconforming product, containment processes, documentation flow, and cross-departmental communication.
• Ensure compliance with the applicable Quality Management System standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, and internal company requirements.
• Maintain full traceability of reworked or repaired materials from identification through final acceptance, ensuring proper documentation is captured at every stage.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to communicate supplier-related nonconformances, initiate and track return-to-vendor (RTV) actions, and ensure timely supplier responses when applicable.
• Train and support personnel in MRB procedures, documentation standards, and nonconforming material control processes to ensure consistent execution across departments.
• Act as the central point of contact for all MRB-related inquiries, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timely communication between departments.

Who We’re Looking For:
• This role requires a high school diploma with 2 to 4 years or relevant experience OR a BA/BS degree with 2 or more years of experience
• Bonus points for prior experience in a rapid growth environment
• We’re seeking a person who has a high attention to detail and embodies our mantra “Everything is important”.
• We’re seeking someone who has strong organizational, problem-solving, and collaborative skills with the ability to prioritize efficiently and effectively within and across departments
• The ideal candidate is computer literate including emails, Excel, and other programs
