In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team you will assist with the management of Transport for NSW’s treasury and liquidity activities, ensuring compliance with NSW Treasury policies and frameworks.
This role will see you contribute to the daily banking, settlements, payments, and cash management processes.
You will prepare and analyse short and long term cash flow forecasts, perform treasury reconciliations, support funding drawdowns, and provide insightful reporting to inform financial decision making.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to process improvements, maintain best practice financial controls, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of treasury transactions.

About you
You have strong experience in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, with excellent numerical and analytical skills that enable you to provide accurate insights and support informed decision-making.
You excel at building and maintaining effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior management and external agencies, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
You can confidently manage competing priorities, work effectively under pressure, and consistently meet challenging deadlines.
You are also adaptable and proactive, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technology, including SAP Analytics Cloud, and are committed to driving continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.
Bachelor qualification in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Business, Economics or Commerce) essential. CPA/CA membership is highly regarded.
