Car Polisher

Key Responsibilities:

• Polish vehicles after the painting process to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
• Operate polishing equipment and apply polishing compounds to vehicle surfaces as required.
• Remove scratches, paint defects, imperfections, and other surface marks from vehicle body panels.
• Polish and finish vehicle surfaces to meet required quality standards.
• Inspect polished surfaces to ensure a consistent and professional finish.
• Replace worn polishing buffs and related equipment using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintain polishing tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all workshop safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Polishing Foreman or Bodyshop Manager.

Role Purpose

To restore and enhance the appearance of vehicle surfaces after painting by removing scratches, defects, and imperfections and delivering a high-quality polished finish in accordance with company standards.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automotive car polishing, vehicle detailing, bodyshop polishing, or a similar role.

Education: High School qualification or equivalent education.

Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in automotive polishing, scratch removal, paint defect correction, and the use of polishing machines and related equipment.

Languages: Basic communication skills in English.

Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, commitment to quality, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
