About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Dealer, Institutional Equities to join our Institutional Equities team at RHB Investment Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting institutional clients through market engagement, stock sourcing initiatives, client servicing, and idea generation. You will work closely with clients, Research, and internal stakeholders to deliver value-added solutions while contributing to the team's business development and revenue objectives.
What you will be doing
Conduct daily calls with institutional clients based on the assigned client listing.
Attend and actively participate in daily morning meetings with the Research team to stay updated on market developments and investment ideas.
Generate and share relevant investment ideas and market insights with clients.
Source stock blocks and identify trading opportunities to support client requirements.
Deliver value-added services and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients.
Accompany institutional clients to external meetings, industry engagements, and field visits when required.
Collaborate closely with team members to achieve individual and team revenue targets.
Assist in organizing client events, briefings, roadshows, and other engagement activities for institutional clients.
Promote and cross-sell relevant banking and investment products to clients where appropriate.
Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry guidelines.
Maintain the required professional licenses and certifications by attending relevant training and obtaining the necessary Continuing Professional Education (CPE) points.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in stockbroking, capital markets, institutional equities, or related financial services will have an added advantage.
Strong interest in capital markets, equity trading, and institutional sales.
Good communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for financial markets.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia and capital market regulations is an advantage.
Possession of or willingness to obtain the relevant Capital Markets Services Representative's Licence (CMSRL) and meet ongoing CPE requirements.
