Admin/Operations Assistant - Cargo Management (Billing)

Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• To perform the functions which are related to FCZ /DFTZ finance, billing, and credit control.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• To assist Executive and Officer in Credit Control Management process.

• To assist finance in creating/updating new/existing customer account detail (company name, address, account number, etc)

• To create sales order through SAP system from eFCZ system.

• Responsible to collect, print, sort and post all bills issued by Finance Department to customer and compiling the supporting billing documents from eFCZ billing

• Checking inquiry by customers (credit/debit note and dispute bills).

• To update total bills and collection on monthly basis

• Responsible to update & submit payment from customer to Finance Division

• To perform other task as and when directed by superiors.

Relevant Industries

 

• Experience:
  • Prior working experience in a Free Commercial Zone (FCZ), Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Warehouse Administration is highly preferred / an advantage.
  • Practical exposure to billing processes, data entry, or credit control administration.

 

• Skills & Competencies:
  • Computer literate (proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, & Excel).
  • Good numerical accuracy, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn operational systems (SAP, eFCZ).

Education

 

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia with:
  • Credit in Bahasa Melayu
  • Passed in English
  • Passed in Mathematics

OR

 

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional:
  • Credit in Bahasa Melayu (Code 1104)
  • PNGKA: >2.5
