Your Responsibilities

 

As a Facilities Engineer for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will:

 

  • Plans, coordinates and performs facilities project and maintenance engineering work for facility infrastructure, production equipment and processes of moderate to large scope.  
  • Operates in a team environment.
  • Assigns, coordinates and reviews the work of support and contract personnel.  
  • Provides project and supply management for projects of limited scope.  
  • Decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors.

What Skills You Need

 

• 3 or more years of experience managing large scope Facility/Infrastructure/Manufacturing projects
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit
• Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/Project and other engineering tools
• Experience with the design, layout and installation of industrial production systems
• Solid interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and coordinate effectively with external consultants/contractors and internal skilled trades organizations, as well as production workers and all levels of internal salary employees

What Makes You Stand Out

 

• 2 or more years of experience within Facility/Maintenance Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
• 2 or more years of experience with Facility Mechanical Systems design, installation, or maintenance
• Professional Engineering Registration

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering Discipline or Equivalent Experience
