Your mission

Quality Is Not a Safety Net. It's an Engineering Discipline.

At Metrologic DCS, software quality is not something that happens at the end of a development sprint. It is built into how we think, how we design, and how we ship. Our software runs in the most demanding manufacturing environments on the planet — aerospace, automotive, precision engineering — where a defect isn't just a bug report, it's a problem on a factory floor.

This is a leadership role with real scope — managing people, defining strategy, and driving continuous improvement across a multi-site, international engineering organization that is actively growing and transforming.

  • Develop team capabilities (coaching, feedback, career development)

  • Recruit and structure the team in a growing environment

  • Build a strong and cohesive team dynamic

Software Quality Strategy & Execution

  • Prioritize effectively in constrained environments

Continuous Improvement & Tooling

  • Contribute to the QA tooling ecosystem (test management, CI/CD…)

  • Turn lessons learned into actionable improvements

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Build strong working relationships across QA and with engineering teams globally

  • Act as a bridge between teams, ensuring quality is a shared responsibility

  • Ability to define risk-based testing strategies and communicate them effectively

  • Good understanding of software architecture and technical constraints

  • Familiarity with QA tools and CI/CD environments

  • Fluent French and English (written and spoken) required to collaborate with local and international teams

Leadership

  • Proven experience managing QA or testing teams
