Responsibilities:
Conduct preventive, predictive, corrective, and routine maintenance on production machinery, utilities, electrical systems, automation equipment, and facility infrastructure to support business continuity.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC, HMI, instrumentation, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo, and electromechanical systems to minimize downtime and maintain uninterrupted operations.
Perform root-cause analysis of equipment failures and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence and protect operational continuity.
Replace faulty components and carry out lubrication, alignment, adjustment, calibration, and functional testing to restore assets to safe and reliable operating condition.
Develop and continuously improve maintenance strategies that enhance asset reliability, availability, performance, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and business continuity.
Maintain equipment reliability and operational continuity by ensuring proper calibration of maintenance tools, identifying and optimizing spare-parts requirements, monitoring critical-stock shortages, and standardizing suitable components.
Maintain accurate work orders, equipment histories, preventive-maintenance schedules, downtime records, and spare-parts usage in Oracle Fusion CMMS/ERP.
- Support the installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of new equipment, electrical systems, and automation solutions while ensuring seamless integration with ongoing operations.
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and industrial control systems to improve process stability, productivity, and operational resilience.
- Implement condition monitoring, Industrial IoT, smart-maintenance, ERP/MES integration, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to enable proactive, data-driven maintenance decisions.
- Monitor equipment performance, maintenance KPIs, alarms, downtime trends, and energy consumption to identify risks, improve OEE, and prevent disruptions to production.
- Support CAPEX projects through technical evaluations, design reviews, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, and project handover.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, IT, and suppliers to resolve technical issues, standardize documentation, and deliver continuous engineering improvements that sustain reliable operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation & Control Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Professional certifications in PLC Programming, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Networks, or Project Management are considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability, availability, OEE, and business continuity.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electromechanical, and instrumentation systems, including motors, VFDs, sensors, actuators, control panels, and protection devices.
- Practical experience troubleshooting PLC/HMI-controlled equipment, with working knowledge of industrial automation, condition monitoring, Industrial IoT, smart manufacturing, and predictive-maintenance technologies.
- Experience conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions, as well as managing maintenance tools, calibration requirements, critical spare parts, inventory optimization, and component standardization.
- Working knowledge of CMMS/ERP systems and the ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, instrumentation diagrams, equipment manuals, and maintenance work instructions; strong analytical, reporting, communication, and teamwork skills.
