FIELD ENGINEERING SR MANAGER

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Field Engineering Sr Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of multiple VLS customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring MK 41 VLS equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain US National Security.
● Manage over 20 direct reports in the day to day operations of the VLS shipbard and VLS production.
● Collaborate with mulitple GDIT departments such as Quality Assurance, Security, Weld Shop, Painting Shop and outside vendors/subcontractors.
● Drive schedules and manage the work force to successfully meet multiple contract milestones.
● Utilize experience as VLS Test Director to enusre must current and correct VLS poliocies and procedures are being followed. Maintain a fluid relationship with the VLS PEO and VLS ISEA.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your VLS Test Director expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Field Engineering Sr Manager must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Security clearance level:Secret
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Maintain a active and fluid relationship with the VLS customers

The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
