YOUR CHALLENGES
VAT Group is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, multi-stream technology initiatives.
In this role, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of key IT projects as a senior leader in project execution and stakeholder alignment.
Project Leadership
- Lead medium- to large-scale IT projects across multiple business and IT streams.
- Manage diverse stakeholders at different levels, ensuring alignment, transparency, and structured communication.
- Oversee project planning, execution, governance, and quality assurance.
Project Execution
- Drive end-to-end delivery of Digital Workplace and enterprise IT initiatives from initiation through go-live and handover.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, business representatives, vendors, and implementation partners across global locations.
- Manage project scope, timeline, risks, dependencies, and decision-making to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops, project meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder alignment activities.
- Proactively identify delivery risks and drive mitigation actions to keep projects on track.
Governance & Portfolio Alignment
- Maintain clear project plans, status updates, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
- Ensure projects align with business priorities, portfolio governance, and available delivery capacity.
- Support business case development, project intake, prioritization, and governance processes where required.
- Coordinate project transitions into operational support and promote adoption of delivered solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices within the global IT organization.
YOUR COMPETENCIES
- Min 5-7 years experience of experience managing IT projects in mid- to large-scale environments.
- Able to demonstrate capability to drive a project forward independently
- Strong track record of managing multi-stream projects with complex stakeholder landscapes.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong project management capabilities (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across senior and operational levels.
- Strong facilitation, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
Tools
- Strong affinity with digital workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled productivity solutions such as Microsoft Copilot.
- Experience delivering projects related to Digital Workplace, Enterprise Service Management (ESM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Collaboration Platforms, or similar business applications is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP-based environments is beneficial.
